January came... and went..

This month went entirely too fast, not that I am complaining because I am ready for the spring. Some fun things worth mentioning that happened this month are as follows:

My 3rd Anniversary (Feels like 10th :P )
Hooch made some great food and we just chilled at home! It was super nice though!Kollman's Birthday Party at Keys on Main

Cody was rockin' out to Brit's "Baby One More Time" with some random cowboy hat that was on stage. It was so cute :P

Home Sweet Home (For Now)

I can't even begin to explain how important it is to have a place of your own (especially at my age). Well finally after years of talking and planning, Hooch and I finally moved out of Kel's house. Hoody Hoo! Unfortunately, its not my own house because of my lack of credit. However, I have been taking steps to get the necessary credit to buy a house in the near future :P
Here are a few pics of our new little pad, it's only been a week so it is still pretty bare.

A look back... Here is my "Year in Review" including some of the highlights of 2008


These are just a few things that happened that were amazing:
Ending my first year teaching, Redwoods Roadtrip, Family Gatherings, the Annual Easter Egg Hunt for Adults (Gets pretty intense), Milt and Shirley's B&B in Lincoln City, Pride Festival, Concerts, Meeting Matisyahu, Madonna in Vegas, Annual trip to the zoo with Savannah and Brooke, Wendover trips to lose all my money, Birthday Parties, BBQs, Hiking with my sista and her kids, Camping with Boo, Camping in general, Equality March with my best friends, Dress up parties/Halloween, Chillin', Drinking, Lesbian Football, Family Home Evenings, Hottubbin' with my BFFs, Silverthorne to visit Wimmer, Taking a role in my neice's life, Dancing, Singing, Hanging out with my girl, Getting a new place, Playing coed softball with some of my favorite people on earth and defeating DCH for 1st place (TWICE), Coaching a Softball team... Oh the girls were well worth the experience, but it was especially great spending time with my sister and Hooch :P

As for the new year, plenty of great times ahead of me. My goal for this year (and for the rest of my life) is to LIVE my life.... to the fullest! I am not going to let anyone/anything stand in my way. I am going to do the things that make me happy, go to the places that I wanna go.. and if you are in, then that's wonderful, if not, hope our paths meet again! This world is too full of negativitiy.. and full of beautiful creatures and things... Time to see those things again and focus on the positivity...on light...on LOVE.
