April Showers, Bring May Flowers

Nothing like the spring time! April started out with a trip to Vegas for Easter Weekend. We ended up meeting up with some of our friends. Hooch and I got Das Boots and got pretty f'ed up, a usual occurrence in Vegas. It was nice and warm, and just lovely. Trish and Ryan decided to come down last minute after camping up near Cedar City. They came down for a night and we met up to gamble, drink, and of course, eat! As we all know, you end up walking like 15 miles a day in Vegas. Well, Hooch got some gnarly blisters the first day walking the strip making the trip very painful for her.
We went to the Shark Reef and saw all of the little marine animals. So cute. I love the Rays, they are my favorite :P Then we had some amazing Mexican food! Love it... oh man, the cilantro rice... I couldn't get enough yo!

I want to be one for Halloween :PThe Komodo Dragon did not like me. As soon as I got up to the window, he jumped at me and then stuck out his tongue... not a big fan of me for sure!

Vegas was full of adventures, but they didn't compare to what was about to happen. Kayis's water broke early Friday morning (the 17th). The family was axiously waiting for the baby to arrive (19.5 hours to be exact)! Granny Goose, Nicole, Trish and I were listening by the door to find out whether it was a boy or girl. We could hear all of the excitement in the room as the baby was making its way out into this world. Finally, we heard the words, "It's a boy!" and we all went running and screaming down the hall to tell Hooch and Ryan. It was so exciting!

Some couldn't hang as long :PLittle Baby Briggs, Zane Cody, finally joined us after a long labor. He was 8.5 pounds and 20 inches long. He is so freakin' cute! The family was so dam excited to finally find out the sex of the baby. He is so cute, he looks like his daddy.

While the new Briggs family was staying at the hospital, Hooch and I watched over the pups :PKaysi's Birthday Dinner at Red Lobster.. 9 months without seafood, and Kaysi was sure feeling it. Kaysi's mom had to kick her out of the house, but it wasn't long until Kaysi wanted to be home with little Z.And of course, I got to see Britney this month, making it my favorite month this year to date.

The other night, I had the opportunity to be mesmerized by the legendary Ms. Britney Spears!

It was by far, one of the best shows I have ever seen. She is an amazing (ly hot) performer. Not only that, but she's freakin' beautiful. I have seriously NEVER been so turned on in my life. Holy Shit. I don't care if she lip syncs the whole time, I was still so engaged with her performance. I could not take my eyes off of her. Definitely worth the buck 50. Actually, I am wishing that I would've coughed up a few extra bills to get the VIP passes. This would be about one of the only shows where I would actually pay for that. I hope her music keeps getting better and better so I can expect more of these performances. She is my lady. Hot Dam!Come on, really? Dammmmm!

Before the show, Hooch and I met up with some of our loved ones for some dinner at P.F. Chang's. It was a great night spent with my family. I would love to see Brit again. Actually, I wouldn't even mind seeing this same performance one more time :P

She is so cute. I didn't want her to stop, but unfortunately she did. However, if you are going to go out, it best be in style. The end was WAY cute!
