May Day, May Day!

Well what's left to say, the month of May is coming to an end, already. The most important thing about the month's end is....... that I have about a week left of work until August! This month has proven to be one of the more memorable months. It was definitely full of some good times, all of which I will definitely cherish as I grow older!

Here are a few events that took place:

Random Outings with Friends and Family :P
It was especially fun watching my cute little neice and my adorable nephew play in their games.

No Doubt, The Sounds, and Paramore at ESA with Trish, Kaysi, and Jill
(Some of my favorite ladies). We had some yummy salmon and some growlers over at Kaysi and Cody's before the show.. got too drunk to drive playing 3 man... and had to call Boof to take us..
Unfortunately, I didn't take my camera to the concert, but man, it was unbelievable. I love love love Gwen! We danced and sang the whole show, and it was amazing. We were 14 again :P

Lady Sovereign.. NOT! But it was still fun going out to dinner and having some drinks at the show before it got canceled. We were all so excited for the S-O-V!We knew it was a bad sign when people kept talking to the DJ secretly.. and it was taking WAY TOO long for Sov to come out... So sad :(

There were many other great times, but unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me to document my every second.. ahhh sad.. The Big Ass Show was well worth the money, and it was great afterwards when we went out for drinks with Stacey and Wimmer! Definitely a great night!

I love the spring and all of the joy it brings!
This is by far the best time of year... to be happy... to be free... to be alive
I could never explain what or how I feel in the first few months after winter
Oh, it feel so good to be alive...

Although I did lose my great grandma this month, her life was inspiring to me. Among the many things she taught me, the most important was that we have to live in the moment and celebrate all the wonderful things around us. I have found that I can't live a regretful or wishful life. There are SO many opportunities open to us, and if we don't see them or if we are afraid, we may miss out on something great.

Forgive and Forget... We're all human, and are bound to make mistakes...
Live My Dreams... Don't let anything hold me back from things I want to do/accomplish
One thing that was reaffirmed, is that we can't take anything for granted. I have always lived trying to be grateful for all that I have, and my grandma's passing helped me strengthen my beliefs that I need to cherish those around me and the simple things in life.
Gotta keep those loved ones close to me....

When I die, I hope that those who know me can say that I lived my life, and that I enjoyed my time here. I want to live a life that inspires others to do those things that make them truly happy. I want my life to be one that is celebrated.
