"The Good Times Are Killing Me"

This past weekend there were a few Christmas parties going on. Saturday started off with some shopping with John and Jess for a few hours. Then we got in the hot tub with our BFF's and chilled before going to the first holiday party.First, was the 2nd Annual Dirty Santa White Elephant Party at Cody and Kaysi's house. Many great presents for those lucky ones :P There were three little babies at the party, but Chad's little Vanessa was the cutest!I can't show what happened once the little midget blow-up doll was inflated.. It was no good, but here is John blowing up Mimi the midget
Then we had a brunch at my momma's. We enjoyed some delicious food, played some games, and exchanged some gifts. We played the White Elephant Game where you draw numbers and then choose from a pile of presents. In this game, you may steal the presents from someone with a lower number than you. This year it got a little rowdy and there was a bit of wrestling over some of the presents as pictured below. My family is so cute! We took pictures of all the couples!
It was fun to spend some time with my cute little niece and nephew!Sunday night we went to dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Ugarte. They took all of their grandkids (plus John and I) to the Olive Garden.

Lots o' Love

Thank"full"ness...

My Thanksgiving break was a blast. It started with some food on at the Porcupine Grill with Jess, Wimmer, Trish, Hooch, and I...
Then we (minus Wimmer) went up to Park City to watch Matisyahu at Harry O's... We first checked into our hotel, then we got some drinks at O'Shucks before the show.. It was a blast!
Then we waited in line for like 5 minutes for the show..What a great lineup for the show...
Show started with my boyfriend.. Trevor Hall... I had not heard of him before the show, but man oh man.. he is adorable!!! Hooch bought me one of his cds.. He is so so so cute :P
His percussionist is bad ass too! He worked his ass off at the show
Trevor played barefoot until he came out later in the show to play with Matis..
Matis always has random colored shoes at his shows.. Last time was red.. now its green!
Then we were entertained by K'naan.. another great performance
The vocals guy had cute little dazzling eyes
Matisyahu is so cute. He always just jams. Best part of the show: We were front stage.. Sometimes during the show, we were just inches from Matis... and a few feet away from Trevor Hall!
Thanksgiving was at my Gram's and Gramp's house.. They are the best. I couldn't even begin to describe these people.. They are amazing, self-less, accepting, loving people... more than I could have ever asked for :PWe ate a lot of food and chilled for the rest of the dayOf course you can't have Thanksgiving Break without Black Friday..
Hooch and I visited some places, but not until 11 or so..
We didn't do the crazy "Early Bird" sales.. It was a good weekend..
Definitely nice to have some time off of work with Luvi!

"Get Up, Stand Up"

Last weekend there was an Equality March at the City and County Building. It was wonderful to see all kinds of people gathering together for Equality... How amazing it was to be surrounded by love and beauty; the power of people and all of the beauty that we possess inside! What this world could be if we all worked together peacefully...I just want to say "Thanks" to all of my loved ones who went in support of equal rights! Thanks guys! I am so lucky to have you in my life. I can't even fathom my life without you in it. Lots of Love... xoxo"Most people think, Great God will come from the skies.. Take away everything and make everybody feel high... But if you now what life is worth, you will look for yours on earth.. And now you see the light, stand up for your rights" -Bob Marley

Simply put, Love Not Hate

Words of Advice:

Live your life on Earth, don't worry too much about what happens afterwards
Be happy for what you've got, and don't take anything for granted.. things can change in a minute's time
Don't wish away this great happening, and while you are here make peace...
Make the most of everything and stay positive... it could always be worse

"Music Can Be Such A Revelation"

Momma Briggs turned the BIG 50 on Friday! All of the Briggs children and their partners took my mom to Vegas for her birthday. Friday night, Hooch and I finally reach to Vegas after a wild ride of our own music videos. When we get to Vegas, we meet up with my mom, Paige, Cody, and Kaysi to have a few drinks and enjoy some live music at one of the casino lounges. At the lounge, some random drunk dude comes and asks us to dance, but lack of motivation keeps the Briggs family stuck in our seats (I was dancing the whole time in Vegas, but I wouldn't go on the stage by myself, just the table)... Then we did a little gambling, checked out Hooters, did the Vegas thing, and finally hit the beds. The first night Hooch and I crashed in my mom's room because we came an extra day early to be with my mom on her actual birthday...The next day Hooch treats the family to a buffet with her earnings from the night before (Hooch is a mad man and wins on every machine she sits down at.. not kidding!). Then we go shopping at Caesar's Palace.... Oh I got the cutest Juicy coat.. I love it so much... Then I got a Playboy hat (cute but no juicy). After Caesar's Palace, we went to some outlet shops off of the strip.. My family all pilled into Hooch's car for quite an adventure! Once we got to the shops, we ate some lunch and shopped some more... Together Hooch and I got two beanies, four pair of Puma socks, and five really cute Puma jackets! Love them :P After shopping we met Hooch's grandma and pops for dinner. After that we met up with the family and had some drinks! We met on the strip and chilled by the Carnival Bar outside of Harrah's. We danced, took some pictures, and made some videos... Funny story.. So I found an empty pitcher, and so Trish and I were dancing around trying to get tips (or at least pretending too), and some random dude comes over and starts dancing with me and trying to take a picture with me. The first time Hooch just kindof comes and moves him, and the second time Hooch flips out and pushes him away and yells at him... As he is trying to talk to me, I was trying to sneak away out from under his arm... Anyways, the best part was that we (Trish, Hooch, and I) look behind us to see Cody, Kaysi, and Ryan all laughing because they saw the whole thing happen... Probably had to be there, but man it was classic! Then we went up to our room to do a little drinkin' and chillin'...Above: View of the Briggs fam from my balconyMadonna! Before Madonna we went out to dinner as a family and whooped it up! I can't believe we didn't get kicked out.. especially after I started dancing on the table! Then our crazy selves walked to the MGM and were super crazy along the way.. of course drawing as much attention to ourselves as possible.. (Look below.... no words needed)The show was amazing! I developed a crush on Madonna... She played lots of old stuff and it was just unbelievable... After the show, we all were chillin' in the MGM and Nicole entertained us with some wild dancing.. guys from all over were video recording her and taking pics.. Man I wish I would've have my camcorder or camera.. What a time we had! It was so great to spend time with the family, would love to do it more!Other things worth mentioning... We walked the strip, gambled away all of my hard earned money, bought expensive drinks, went to the wax museum, hung out at the Playboy Mansion with Hugh and some bunnies, and got married to (George Clooney)... What a party!"Only when I'm dancing can I feel this free, at night I lock the doors, where no one else can see.. I'm tired of dancing here all by myself.. Tonight I wanna dance with someone else..."- Madonna

Vegas Bound

Here are some pictures of Halloween night! It was a blast! Wilma & Fred Flintstone, Jack Skellington, Dark Helmet, and I (Barf) played card games and whooped it up! Hooch (Dark Helmet) passed out around 10 and the rest of us partied like rockstars!
10:01 Hooch SleepsPartying Like Rockstars, Can't you tell????
Oh I love all of these guys! It was a small group, but one of the best! Lots of loveAfter delivering our livers with much needed toxins, we took a dip in the hot tub... for hours and hours.. seriously... No pics, sorry :P

As for today, it is my mom's BIG 5oth Birthday. All of her kids are taking her down to Sin City to see Madonna, yep the one and only! It is gonna be a great time! I am so excited. I am literally counting down the minutes until I am able to leave work... 2 and a half hours! Over the summer we had a BBQ for the 24th of July, and that is when we surprised my mom and told her that we were taking her to see Madonna on her 50th! She is already down there, and we are stuck in the cold SLC... not for long...

Stay tuned for Madonna Pics (Hopefully we can take cameras!)
