Vegas Bound

Here are some pictures of Halloween night! It was a blast! Wilma & Fred Flintstone, Jack Skellington, Dark Helmet, and I (Barf) played card games and whooped it up! Hooch (Dark Helmet) passed out around 10 and the rest of us partied like rockstars!
10:01 Hooch SleepsPartying Like Rockstars, Can't you tell????
Oh I love all of these guys! It was a small group, but one of the best! Lots of loveAfter delivering our livers with much needed toxins, we took a dip in the hot tub... for hours and hours.. seriously... No pics, sorry :P

As for today, it is my mom's BIG 5oth Birthday. All of her kids are taking her down to Sin City to see Madonna, yep the one and only! It is gonna be a great time! I am so excited. I am literally counting down the minutes until I am able to leave work... 2 and a half hours! Over the summer we had a BBQ for the 24th of July, and that is when we surprised my mom and told her that we were taking her to see Madonna on her 50th! She is already down there, and we are stuck in the cold SLC... not for long...

Stay tuned for Madonna Pics (Hopefully we can take cameras!)

Gonna Dress You Up In My Love

It's that time again for Joey's annual birthday/Halloween party! Each year it gets better and better. Great time to see family and friends all dressed up! I only got a few pictures because I didn't have my memory card :(

Making the costume: So Hooch and I spent most of Saturday making our costumes for the party that night... No, we are not procrastinators! So my costume (Barf from Spaceballs) requires a lot of hair (tail, ears, hands, feet, etc.) so I had this long strip of fake camel fur. After like 3 hours of burning myself with the hot glue gun, we took a little break, and when we went back to working, my ear-headband (which weighs like 10 pounds) and fur were missing. Funniest thing, but I found my fur halfway hanging out the doggy door.. and my headband was by the door too! Milo (the Kollman's Shih Tzu) had been playing with costume. Luckily, he didn't get it all the way outside.. haha He's too cute !October is my favorite month! More pictures coming for tonight's party at the Kollman's!

UEA Weekend

So for whatever reason, teachers got this whole weekend off for UEA. Although many went to conferences, I had a few other things in mind. First of all it started with a few drinks after work with some of my co-workers. Later on, Hooch and I went over to Ally's new house to continue my initial plans for UEA (drink) with a few margaritas. Then we decided to put up some decorations for Ally's Pirate Party that was to be held on Friday.

Thursday night, Ally, Hooch, and I decorated a little bit more and found our costumes for the Pirate Party. Then we took a few pictures and had another pre-party...Arrggg!

Friday night was the night for the Pirate Party. It was a great time. The pictures can tell much more than my meandering words. The pictures are in chronological order... You can see how things changed over the night! Unfortunately, I can not put up some of the real wild pics!

The rest of the weekend I spent either at the few Subaru dealerships looking for my new car or at John and Jessica's house tending the cute little boys while wading in the hot tub :P

Pumpkin Time

Yesterday we decided to have a little home evening of our own to create holiday festivities... jack o'laterns. We just chilled, watched Biggest Loser, and carved our pumpkins.

Here is a quick look at our pumpkins. I am sure you will be able to tell which one is Hooch's :P

My little pumpkin... You can barely see the little man on the side, but there is a little hippie!

The moon is so beautiful.. I couldn't resist..
Too bad I don't have a nice camera, it doesn't help that I took the pics in a car,
but the moon is so lovely..

The moon on the way to Trisha's Pad...

The night's light.. Oh so cute :P

I'm counting UFO's.. I signal them with my lighter.. and in this moment I am happy... Happy!" -Incubus

Roadtrippin'

"Roadtrippin' with my two favorite allies.. Fully loaded, we've got snacks and supplies. Its time to leave this town, its time to steal away... Lets go get lost anywhere in the U.S.A." RHCP

We jammed to music for all 15 hours of total driving time, pretending that we were rockstars. I even hurt my throat from all the singing.. "Gucci, Fendi, Prada purses, purchasing them finer things.. Men, they come a dime a dozen.. just give me them diamond rings" ...Okay so Hooch and I sang the Fergie song Labels or Love like 39 times... at least just the beginning and this verse... There's was lots more GREAT music along the way...
I love music...How it makes you feel so connected to the world in ways thatI only wish I could explain. What a wonderful feeling :P Ipods are the greatest invention if you ask me!
P.S. Hooch apparently drives with her eyes closed.. Gasp!

Trip started off with a little camping trip to Green River State Park
"Was that a bat?"We stayed up playing card games, and of course Hooch didn't pay up. You still owe me :P

Then we drove through beautiful and quite diverse landscapes. It was so beautiful...
The temperatures were as extreme as the landforms, ranging from 78 to 37 degrees. WOW!
We held our breath in every tunnel, but were unsuccessful in the long death-causing one.

Then we reached our destination: SILVERTHORNE, COLORADO
It is a beautiful little town. We visited Ms. Ashly Wimmer and stayed with her for a few days. We definitely had some great times. We went out to dinner the first night and walked around a small town called Frisco. Then we went and got some stuff at the local drink store where Muschu didn't find us very pleasing.... "hsss fine, Muschu."

Then we played some cards... and of course I had the best hand. We pretty much ruined Wimmer's pack of cards by playing hours and hours of Speed and California Speed and a little bit of King's Cup, Crazy 8's, Texas Hold'em, and Spoons/Granola Bars.

We did some sight-seeing and shopped around in cute little Breckenridge.
Ms. Wimmer made us wonderful eats...

What else can I say???
We were freakin' nuts...
But we had a blast!
This picture explains it all.. haha

A Time of Something New

For years I have felt that there is something much bigger out there for me. Not quite understanding the purpose of my life, I am left with the surrounding questions that stalk my every move. Searching, seeking, pursuing are the words that should be in primary sight. However, I have spent so much time trying to figure out what goals to chase, that I have failed to begin any. There are so many things I have to do... yet, I am so completely lost.. still unsure of who I am to become. The beauty that surrounds this great place is overpowering. I'm aching to become one with the earth and live in its beauty... surrounded by sweet, sweet things as I melt and become coalesced with nature.
