March Madness..

March was a good one, although it went by entirely too fast. The weather started out much more pleasant than it has been around here lately. I love spring, and all, but the indecisiveness of March's weather makes me crazy! I am just ready for the 60-70s.. I can handle rain, but snow should not be able to show itself in the valley for a few more months (7 months to be exact). Well between the varying temperatures and types of precipitation we've received, there was still a lot of things going on throughout the month: Dancing, Trisha's "Knock Me Over Long Islands", Kaysi's Baby Shower, Trisha's Birthday and therefore our random trip to Wendover, the trip to Wendover the week before with Kel (where I won $2,700 using her money.. disappointing I know), Softball Practices (for my team and for myself), My Birthday... etc.

Here's a few pictures to give you an idea of what happened in March '09

Look at that amount.. Man, I wish it was mine for real!

"Out on the ocean
There's no one around
No one to hear a sound
It's just us out here
Out on the ocean
Speaking free

Away from the city
Away from the ears that
Bug us and judge us
It's so liberating
To be free
And my heart slows down

Nice and easy
And your breathing will be pleasing
Just speak easy
And say what's on your mind
I search for something
To compare you to
Thought long and hard
For a simile true
Now I'm suddenly aware
End the quest you're beyond compare
So speak easy"

"Stay Positive and Love Your Life"

February has proven to be an excellent month. First of all, it is shorter than all of the other months.. meaning less working days! Sweet! Thought that was good enough, well I ended up getting a "newer" car yesterday, and I just love it! She is so cute. We call her the Smash-a-Ru.
Half of the down payment.. Hooch and I thought we were cool so we took like 900 pictures of the money...
The Smash-a-Ru and the Jew-ba-Ru are best friends already!
On Saturday, when we were finished car shopping, we went out for some grub. My fortune cookie stated that "Today will be lucky and memorable for you!" I imagine they were talking about getting my new bundle of joy, Chuey.. Okay, it's really just my Smash-a-Ru
Krista's Dirty 30th PartyCute Cody and Prego Kaysi with Baby Briggs
My new golf clubs for my birthday.. Yes, VERY EARLY birthday present from Trish and Ry. Brand New Lefty Golf Clubs. Now, I really have to go golfing!!
Another big thing was my littlest sister had her Sweet 16 yesterday.. which means I am getting super old because I am 10 years.. yes, 10 years older than her.. YIKES!
Watch out, Paige is going to be driving soon, possibly today if she gets her license. She'll be in my old white car cruisin' the street.. Be careful!
Paige getting ready to blow out her candles..
Boston after he blew out Paige's candles
He was so cute. Haha..Livin' the Dream :P

February's Trip to Colorado

So out of the blue, Boo and I decided to take a little trip. "I'll tell you where. Someplace warm. A place where the beer flows like wine. Where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano. I'm talking about a little place called Aspen." (Dumb and Dumber)
Okay, no we didn't go to Aspen, although one day I hope to! We saw some cheap tickets to Denver, and we just couldn't resist. It was a sticky situation getting Hooch on and off of the plane. She has a bad case of flight anxiety. I have like 10 fingernails still stuck in my arm because of it. Needless to say, we made it to the good old state of Colorado within about 80 minutes and from there on out, we had a great time!
Boof is so cute!

We did a little shopping, site-seeing, touring at the local and largest Brewery in the world (Miller Coors), eating, chilling with a good friend, etc. We had a great experience and it was so nice to see a little side of Denver and for my first time, Cherry Creek! I just love it there! It is so beautiful. It has everything that a big city would have, but it is much more relaxed. It was amazing!!! Lots of cute beers Our New Friend
Love my new little Puma jackets! So cute :P
It was a fun mini vacay! Hope to go on another little trip soon! Moab in April for sure yo!

The greatest thing about life, is realizing what it means to be alive! There is nothing quite like spending time with the ones you love! If I could, I would take all of those close to my heart somewhere so far away to spend time with! Somewhere without excuses...
Life is so simple. I often wonder why we make it so much more complicated.

"Forget your lust for the rich man's gold,
All that you need is in your soul
............
Boy, don't you worry... you'll find yourself
Follow your heart and nothing else
And you can do this, if you try
All I want for you my son,
is to be satisfied"

Having some beer and food! Good times!

Ally's First Going Away Party at the Paper Moon
It was fun dancing, and watching Feef pretending to be sexy ! HA!

It was a good month, but would be better if it was sunny and warm :P
